Description Summary/Objective The Quality Inspector I position is responsible for inspecting all incoming and outgoing products, services requirements, and inspection requests.

\n - Comprehend requirements and coordinate inspections of the company's various products.
\n - Maintain traceability requirements and accurate records of inspection results.
\n - Continually evaluate the quality processes to ensure the company's ability to meet product and service requirements.
\n - Effectively communicate quality issues and concerns with supervisor and/or internal customer to ensure timely and effective resolutions.
\n - Prioritize day-to-day work objectives based on input from supervisor.
\n - Maintain calibrated inspection equipment to ensure its adequacy for use.
\n - Familiar with structured problem methodologies (5-why's, 8D's, A3's)
\n - Ability to work both independently and in a group setting.

Physical Demands Strength Guideline: The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds, occasional lift or move up to 25 pounds and rarely lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Motion Parameters: The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Vision and Hearing: The employee is required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, at times can be high.
Qualifications Required Education and Experience \n - Experience and proficiency with various Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
\n - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
\n - Experience with precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

Preferred Education and Experience \n - Experience with electronic MRP systems in a regulatory controlled environment, such as aerospace or medical.
\n - Knowledge and ability to complete AS9102 FAI's & basic understanding of PPAP requirements/best practices.
\n - Experience with CMM measurements and practices.
\n - 2 years of inspection experience in a similar role, preferably with aerospace or medical quality requirements.
