Job Description

As you might expect, maintenance repairs and services will be at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you will be:

Building Maintenance

• Ensures timely completion of all assigned work orders.
• Completes basic building repairs related to air conditioner units, air exchange systems, electrical work, carpentry, fixtures, HVAC, plumbing, appliances and windows.
• Completes preventative maintenance, grounds maintenance, basic housekeeping tasks, and general upkeep. 
• Assists in prioritizing work orders and monitoring maintenance of buildings and equipment. 
• Prepares vacant units as assigned. 

Communication

• Interacts with residents, vendors and fellow employees respectfully and professionally, treating others with dignity and empathy. 
• Works with management to ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws. 
• Clear, concise communication with the client and the account manager on work schedule for assigned areas, and preventative maintenance. 

 Shift:  Monday to Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, this is a Temporary position, the contract is for up to 6 months.

  Minimum Requirements

• 18 years or older.
• Minimum of 1 year maintenance/trades experience
• Able to stand, walk, reach, climb, bend and kneel. 
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally. 
• Able to withstand external weather conditions such as working outside in the rain, cold, heat or other adverse weather.
