Job Description

As an AV Technician - Level 3, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the execution of AV/IT system installations at various job sites. Your extensive experience in the construction and AV/IT trades, coupled with strong leadership skills, will be instrumental in ensuring the successful completion of projects in accordance with project plans and industry standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of experience leading AV/IT system installations.
• Valid state installation license and/or certificate as required by state law.
• AVIXA CTS-I certification or
  • graduate of a State Certified Apprenticeship program within two years of hire.
• Powder actuated tool certification.
• Advanced proficiency using AV/IT trade tools.
• Proficient in using construction equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Windows and MS Office.
• Proven experience in installing AV equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Assign work priorities to crew.
• Ensure crew morale and safety.
• Provide on-the-job training for installation techniques and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance to other installers.
• Train and mentor new hires and trainee installation staff.
• Act as a point of contact between the crew and the project team.
• Ensure completion of tasks within estimated labor hours.
• Report job progress and issues to the Foreman or Project Manager.
• Maintain and mark-up record set drawings.
• Complete wire pulls and equipment installations.
• Test all equipment to ensure expected system performance.
