My client in the Swallownest area are looking for experienced Welders / Fabricators.
Duties of the Role: Under general supervision, performs skilled work during the manufacture/build of trailer and trailer bodies to ensure the safe and efficient operation of fixtures, apparatus, and other elements in the factory area.Work involves fitting body components to panels and assembled trailer bodies. The parts may be attached by bonding or by mechanical fasteners. Use tools and equipment used in trailer bodybuilding. General knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions. Skill in the use and care of hand and power tools and equipment necessary to prepare, fit and fasten body components. Ability to perform manual labour for extended periods of time as required by work assignments. Good interpersonal skills Good manual dexterity requires the ability to handle a variety of items such as hand tools. Experience in the manufacture of trailers is desirable but not essentialInterpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form Be able to maintain and repair associated adhesive and fastener equipment. General knowledge of the tools and equipment used in trailer bodybuilding. Skill in the use and care of hand and power tools and equipment necessary to prepare, fit and fasten body components.Ability to apply specified bonding procedures.
