Remote (Must Reside in U.S. Eastern or Central Time Zone) NO SPONSORSHIP- Mortgage Technology
A growing mortgage software company with headquarters in New Jersey and executive leadership based in NJ Metropolitan area is seeking a driven Sr. Accounting professional to join their expanding team. This is a remote role with strong growth potential for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee full-cycle accounting operations, including financial statements, payroll, and recordkeeping
Manage accounts payable (processing ~100 monthly bills) and client invoicing for 20–30 active accounts
Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financials to support leadership decision-making
Administer bi-monthly payroll using UKG system and maintain compliance with reporting requirements
Fully responsible for all entries and reconcilement of the QB AR, AP and GL
Build and mentor a growing accounting support team (bookkeeper or clerk to be hired in the future)
Qualifications:
CPA or MBA strongly preferred
5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
Proficiency with QuickBooks and UKG payroll systems
Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment
Proactive, collaborative mindset aligned with a culture of accountability and growth
Excellent communication skills (English)
