Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contracted position is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a vibrant school setting in Murrieta, CA. This role is designed for professionals with direct school experience and a passion for fostering communication development in children and adolescents.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language support to K-12 students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's specific needs.
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other support staff to track and document student progress.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development to ensure the highest quality of service delivery.
• Maintain a caseload within the school environment and adhere strictly to district policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid CA Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license is required.
• Demonstrated experience working in a school setting is mandatory; candidates without school experience will not be considered.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a caseload efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills tailored to diverse student populations.
• Commitment to working on-site in Murrieta; virtual candidates are not eligible.

Position Details:

• Location: Murrieta, California
• Schedule: Approximately 37.5 hours per week during the school year
• Contract duration: Immediate start through early October
