Position Summary:
We are looking for a creative and experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead the interior design process for residential renovations and new custom homes. You will work closely with our in-house architects, project managers, and clients from concept to completion, ensuring that each space is beautifully designed, thoughtfully planned, and impeccably executed.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead interior design for luxury home renovations and ground-up custom builds.
Collaborate with clients to define vision, scope, and functional needs for interiors.
Select and specify all FF&E, finishes, fixtures, and materials appropriate to project scope and style.
Develop space plans, interior elevations, detailed millwork drawings, and reflected ceiling plans.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and trades throughout the design and build process.
Review construction progress, attend site visits, and provide design guidance during execution.
Ensure all designs are aligned with the client’s budget, lifestyle, and architectural context.
Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge in furniture selection, as well as window treatments, area rugs, art and accessories
Furniture selections, Power-point documents, quoting of furniture, procurement, and order tracking. Create proposals/quotes/ purchase orders.
Experience in Studio Designer or similar software is desired but not mandatory.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field.
Minimum of 7–10 years of residential interior design experience, specifically in custom homes and renovations.
Proven expertise in space planning, plan and elevation drawings, material selection, millwork design, and finish specifications.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, and Revit (a plus).
Strong presentation and client communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal oversight, from concept to completion.
NCIDQ certification preferred.
Familiarity with local Arizona design styles, materials, and climate considerations is a plus.
Strong organizational skills - Detailed minded and deadline oriented.
