As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while maintaining a high level of professionalism. You will help to deter security-related incidents by remaining attentive and approachable, responding promptly to inquiries, and supporting a secure environment through strong communication and customer service skills. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, communicating with appropriate personnel and first responders.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence at the front desk.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and management to address inquiries and provide information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
