Job Description

This position offers an opportunity to provide physical therapy services in a K-12 school setting located in North Lakewood, WA. The role is structured as a part-time contract for the full 2025-2026 school year.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy assessments and interventions tailored to students' needs
• Collaborate with educational staff to support students' physical development and access to the curriculum
• Maintain documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Provide consultation to school personnel and parents as necessary
• Support students in achieving their individualized education program (IEP) goals

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with current credentials
• Experience working with school-age children, preferably in a K-12 educational setting
• Ability to work independently within a school environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to student-centered therapeutic approaches

Schedule and Location:

• Part-time, .4 FTE (16 hours per week)
• Two days per week during the full school year (2025-2026)
• Located in North Lakewood, Washington
• Immediate start preferred

Compensation:

• Hourly rate ranging from $50 to $65, commensurate with experience and ability to operate independently in the school setting
