We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to drive sales growth by targeting builders, general contractors, and commercial flooring accounts in the Fort Myers area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, strong relationship-building skills, and deep knowledge of the flooring or construction industry. This role offers a competitive base salary, uncapped commission, and exceptional growth opportunities within a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and Develop New Business : Identify and target builders, general contractors, architects, and commercial clients to expand Floorcrafters’ customer base.
• Build and Maintain Relationships : Foster long-term partnerships with key stakeholders through consistent face-to-face interactions, networking, and a consultative sales approach.
• Drive Sales Growth : Achieve and exceed sales targets by presenting tailored flooring solutions, preparing accurate proposals, and closing deals.
• Product Expertise : Leverage in-depth knowledge of flooring materials (hardwood, tile, carpet, vinyl, etc.) to provide expert recommendations and address client needs.
• Market Analysis : Stay informed on local market trends, competitor offerings, and construction project pipelines to position Floorcrafters competitively.
• CRM Management : Track all sales activities, leads, and client interactions in the company CRM, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
• Collaborate with Internal Teams : Work closely with installation teams, customer service, and logistics to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
• Attend Industry Events : Represent Floorcrafters at trade shows, networking events, and industry associations to generate leads and build brand awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience : Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in flooring, construction, building materials, or a related B2B field.
• Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of flooring products, installation processes, and construction industry dynamics (preferred but not required).
• Skills :
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with contractors, builders, and commercial clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to manage a territory and prioritize high-value opportunities.
• Requirements :
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (company vehicle allowance provided).
  • Ability to travel within the Fort Myers area and surrounding regions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
