Night Manager - Polynesian Hotel Work Location: 1001 S. Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577
Job description - The person in this position reports directly to the General Manager andwill be responsible for overseeing hotel operations in the evening hours.Duties include supervising staff to provide hotel services; implementing andenforcing procedures necessary for ensuring the safety of guests and theirproperty; preventive maintenance and quality control for the property (nightlyinspection/security walk); checking in guest; managing paperwork; resolvingcustomer complaints; and performing other duties as required or assigned.
Full Time - Primarily 2nd shift - (Flexible) Job responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to : - Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guest service needs
- Resolve front desk discrepancies (financial, reservation, etc.)
- Assist guests in making, changing, and canceling reservations and registering in/out of the resort
- Work with guests to resolve problems by suggesting and applying mutually aggregable solutions
- Assist guest in making, changing, and cancelling reservations
- Provide information regarding resort amenities and services
- Work with other department to ensure guest requests are met in a timely manner
- Communicate with the morning staff on any ongoing business needs from the night shift
- Ensure compliance with Company standards
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safety hazards
- Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics which inspire team members to exceed standards and promote a positive work environment
- Perform nightly property walks and ensure completion and distribution of the MOD Report
Requirements : - Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends andholidays
- High School Diploma
- Previous front desk / customer service experience
- Managerial experience is preferred
- Excellent leadership, management, and team building skills
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient Computer Skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time
- Valid Driver's License
- Salary will be based on experience.
