Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Location: Mocksville, NC

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: Day Shift 7-:330 M-F with possible overtime as needed

Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial Maintenance

Pay: $30-$35/hr

Job Overview:

We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician to serve as the sole maintenance professional at our manufacturing plant. This hands-on role is ideal for an experienced technician looking for a day shift opportunity in a dynamic environment. Qualified candidates will have strong troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of hydraulics , electrical systems , and basic PLCs .

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on roll formers, brakes, and other plant equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems , electrical components , and mechanical issues .
Use a multimeter to diagnose problems with switches, servos, and basic PLC-controlled systems.
Conduct light welding and fabrication as needed.
Manage and track work orders using two software platforms (experience with Vector Solutions or Asset Essentials is a plus).
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety protocols .
Collaborate with plant leadership to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance .
Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical , hydraulic , and mechanical systems .
Ability to use diagnostic tools like multimeters effectively.
Basic computer skills; comfortable navigating maintenance software platforms .
Familiarity with PLC systems (no programming required).
Welding experience preferred.
Experience with Vector Solutions or Asset Essentials is a plus.
