Lettieri & Company, an importer of fine foods and wines, has been in operation for more than 25 years in the San Francisco Bay area. As a family operated business, we are dedicated to developing and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers and retailers and are an active member of the Specialty Food Association.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, we are seeking a Junior Account Executive to join our growing team of Sales professionals. The individual will be responsible for calling on assigned customer accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with merchandising, market research and product demonstrations. This position is an entry level opportunity for future advancement into a dedicated sales position with an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Call on assigned customer accounts to provide exceptional customer service while performing suggestive selling
• Maintain and build relationships with existing customer accounts
• Perform customer needs analysis, develop solutions, and discuss product offerings with management and customers
• Provide timely and accurate information on all customer inquiries such as pricing, availability, product information, etc.
• Ensure the proper level of activity in assigned customer accounts to generate sales results
• Visit assigned customer accounts as needed
• Participate in product demonstrations
• Assist in Merchandising retail stores
• Assist in sample preparation for team
• Assist with market research projects
• Provide back-up support to Account Executives on vacation or sick leave
• Deliver product directly to customers in emergency circumstances
• Participate in product and sales related training

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary education in Marketing and/or Sales related fields
• Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management skills
• Knowledgeable and proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Must possess a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and clean DMV record
