FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.

Summary:
As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional nursing care in our Interventional Psych Clinic. Your role will involve supporting procedural services and ensuring safe, direct patient care using the nursing process. You will be responsible for monitoring patient safety and outcomes while optimizing available resources.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and document pre/post and procedural monitoring, communicate patient conditions, and ensure all interventions are appropriately documented.
• Deliver specialized nursing care to a complex patient population in an intricate healthcare setting.
• React effectively to life-threatening situations, following nursing protocols for treatment while maintaining composure in high-pressure scenarios.
• Assess learning needs of patients and families, providing tailored education according to age, culture, and specific circumstances.
• Exhibit critical thinking and decisive judgment, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing-approved Registered/Professional Nursing program; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• At least 6 months of RN experience; relevant special procedures experience is preferred.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer must be held before the start date, with a validity of at least sixty days post-hire.
