Position: Freight Dispatcher

Pay Rate: $21.60 per hour

Schedule: Mon - Fri 8am - 4:30pm

Job Description:

As a Freight Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in the logistics of our customer freight operations. This position involves building strong relationships with our Independent Contractors while ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods. We are looking for an individual who is dedicated to providing outstanding support to our drivers, quick in addressing questions and troubleshooting issues, and proactive in monitoring freight movements to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, schedule, dispatch, and plan customer freight shipments effectively.
• Serve as the primary communication point for drivers through phone, Qualcomm, and email.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with Independent Contractors within your assigned fleet.
• Provide exceptional support to drivers, ensuring their professional needs are met.
• Monitor shipments during transit to meet delivery schedules efficiently.
• Respond to inquiries from customers in a professional, thorough, and timely manner.
• Manage expectations of customers and drivers to align with operational capabilities.
• Monitor driver performance and available hours effectively.
• Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to offer solutions and resolve issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and operations.
