Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee wastewater treatment projects in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction projects related to wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring quality control, compliance with safety regulations, and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of wastewater treatment construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  • Enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance, including local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Monitor work quality and ensure materials and processes meet industry standards.
  • Resolve on-site challenges and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and schedules.
  • Lead and mentor site teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction supervision, specifically in wastewater treatment projects.
  • Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, regulatory requirements, and construction best practices.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • OSHA certification and familiarity with environmental compliance standards.
