Job Description

The Safety Coordinator in Danvers, MA supports specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety.

  • Oversee all aspects of the commercial construction project within the pharmaceutical facility ensuring OSHA compliance
  • Conduct daily safety meetings
  • Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
  • Daily safety audits and inspections
  • Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
  • Write job hazard analysis (JHA) and health & safety plans (HASP)

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years direct pharmaceutical construction safety experience required
  • Working knowledge pharmaceutical safety protocols
  • CHST Preferred
  • OSHA 510 required
  • Advance knowledge of construction safety standards
  • Great verbal and written communication
  • Ability to coach and mentor in all facets of the construction safety process
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
