DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a highly motivated CDL Landscaper to join our Integrated Vegetation Management (IVM) team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operates safely and efficiently, and holds a valid Class A CDL. You will support our field operations by transporting equipment and executing vegetation management tasks along highways, right-of-way, and utility corridors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and drive CDL vehicles to transport crews, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
• Load and unload landscaping and vegetation management equipment.
• Perform right-of-way clearing including weed control, brush removal, and tree trimming using chainsaws, brush cutters, and other tools.
• Apply herbicides in accordance with all safety standards and state regulations.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including pickup of trash, debris, and organic material.
• Operate power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery in a safe and responsible manner.
• Follow all DCS safety protocols and participate in ongoing training.
• Assist in other vegetation management tasks and perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

EXPERIENCE:

• 18+ years of age or older.
• Valid CDL Class A is required with 5 years of clean driving experience.
• Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or vegetation management preferred.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and terrains.
• Strong work ethic and attention to safety.
• Willingness to travel away from home for 1 week at a time approx.: 6-8 weeks of travel throughout the year.

Pay rate: $23-25/hour
